Is it just me or my computer, but The Nut seems to have stalled on me…no updates for a number of days, no new members for at least a week and overall very quiet.

I've noticed that there haven't been any posts recently. Didn't pay any attention to new member count.

Its just quiet... except for 3 or 4 spammers I've suspended and nuked posts from... lol

good work Dallan...I check in at obscure hours and catch them napping.....reckon it works well we all being in different timezones,thier is always someone checking in....
hunting has been a bit slow so havent really had a lot to post as of late.
I did make up an ugly duckling super light stock for my .223....but it is ugly as sin ,functional but not pretty...bare origonal stock is 1200grms my pauliwinna one with bakelite buttplate and 3 coats of polyurethane is bang on 500grms
took me less than a day to rough it out and put rifle back together...then ballsed it up by taking too much wood out as action was twisting,so cut arrow shaft pillars to suit metal work (out of stock) put them in place and built stock back up with hot glue gun,well greased stock and slapped it together while still hot....worked a treat.

Vince, nup you are not the only one who noticed.
The nut does this a couple times a year it seems.
Maybe they are all preparing for cabin fever?

I haven’t even seen spammers posts…might be my system. I recently switched over to using a VPN…that might have something to do with it.

Pics mate, pics…sounds like an interesting project.

Deer Sniper would break down and cry seeing my crude stock.....functional is a kind way to describe it....

I agree that it seems that folks have other things getting their attention. I hope things pick up soon. A ll the best...
