From myself, my wife and one of our pastors -
Dear Hunting Nut Family,
We are thinking of and praying for each of you. Especially all of our doctors, nurses, med students and medical professionals - you are loved and appreciated!
We imagine that you are being bombarded with all of the unknowns and stresses of this current situation, just as we are. The anxiety levels are so high right now, here in our State, Nation and around the world.
Philippians 4:6-7 states: "Do not be ANXIOUS about ANYTHING, but in EVERY situation, by PRAYER and PETITION, with THANKSGIVING, present your requests to God. And the PEACE of GOD, which transcends ALL understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." YES and AMEN!
Everyone stay safe, and if you know of an elderly person that needs help, if you are able, please do what you can to help them.
This is more of a personal note from me, David White aka Deer Sniper here on the forum.
This concerns the Corona Virus and anyone who has Rheumatoid Arthritis and is on medication for it. The vast majority of these drugs are already attacking your immune system, which is how they work and the biggest drawback to using them. "IF" you are on any of these immune suppresent drugs, you stand a far greater chance of dying "IF" you contract this virus, which is why so many of the elderly people are dying, because their immune system is already bottomed out from the use of many of these arthritic drugs.
The government may be telling us some things BUT they are not telling us everything! And why they won't this information public, is beyond me!
Rumor - NO!
Conspiracy theories - NO!
Proven fact - YES!
How do I know? Because I have R/A and I know exactly how these drugs work! And because I have has 32 customers and friends in the US die from thus virus, and everyone of them has R/A and was on medications that were already attacking their immune system, and when the virus hit, they had absolutely no way of fighting it off, because their immune system was already severely compromised!
I am still here because I stopped taking these Arthritis drugs, but with my immune system compromised from being on them, if I get sick, there is a 99.999% chance that I will die from it! We, my wife and I, are doing everything possible to stay away from the public, and if you know people who take Rx for severe arthritis, whether it's pills, shots or infusions, make them self quarantine! Go buy their groceries for them, mow their lawn, or do anything you can to make sure they stay indoors and away from the general public.
God bless you all and stay safe!
David

A good point David one our elected leaders are ignorant about or think will panic the sheeple. Or is it a case of causing concern that leads to people stopping their treatnnents and through that needing medical intervention when the system is already under a great deal of stress. I think the last place anyone would want to go near ATM is a medical facility.
This thing is very savage on the old or one with many underlying issues, even the realitively fit and healthy are having difficulty if they contact this.
They only way for people in your age group with your medical issues to prevent this is to avoid it entirely as you are doing.
Other things to avoid apparently are Aspirine and Ibprofen which also effect your bodies immune response.
My best wishes to you and yours, stay well

I appreciate the good words from from all you guys, so thank you!
I learned something new yesterday that has not made our local news, and probably for good reason! There is an average of 3 suicides a day here in Tulsa because of this Covid19 Virus!
If it is that bad here, I wonder how many other cases of suicide there is across the US that the news stations do NOT report!
My wonderful wife still went to work today, and will spend the day (her choice) making face masks for people that need them. Her boss keeps her safe and away from customers who come in to do business, because he knows that she cannot get sick, and in turn make me sick. We are all doing everything we can, but it still does not seem to be enough!
ALL of you guys and gals here at Hunting Nut please stay safe, and if it is around you like it is here, please don't go out without your face masks and gloves. It is getting really bad and really fast, and getting worse everyday!
David

My thoughts on mental wellbeing:
GET OUTSIDE if you can.
I was really stressed out after yesterday's shopping trip (shopping for two vulnerable people[brother & mother], plus myself).
So today I took a 9 mile hike up the valley Mum lives in & the scenery did its magic:

English Mike,
that is absolutely beautiful and thank you for sharing those pictures with us!
I know it was nerve racking and stressgul on one hand, but you did a good thing for your mom and brother. Good for you!
Being able to be outside is great therapy when you are able to do so. Right now, I have 3 1/2 hours till dark, so I'm going to get off my iPhone and go get on the mower, so I can have a little bit of "me" time and see how much mowing I can get done.

Mike, that is a very selfless act on your part mate, I proud to call you friend and fellow Nut. Your hike through such beautiful country would have done you wonders...I only wish firstly that I was up to it and secondly that we were allowed out to head out into the scrub. If I could, I would happily spend a couple of weeks isolated in the Bush...and hunting of course.
David, you look after your little lady Brenda mate, as she is no doubt looking after you. You are both wonderful people, the type we need more of in this world mate. Please give my regards to Brenda for taking the time, and chance, to do something for others.

You all are in our prayers daily. We have been blessed with no one we know has been affected and we express our thanks where it is due.
I have too few friends to be losing any, so stay healthy, happy and blessed.
Paul
