It's called "catch-up"...

Now where did that damned "u" come from? Stupid finger!!

Yep, “catchup”...the bosses want their pound of flesh for the time you’ve had off work.

Nah...I reckon you’ve caught KIWI Bushy. Just keep an ear out for saying things like fush and chups instead of fish and chips, and you start calling people bro.

Kinda doing some recovery of my own. Finally found a doctor that listens and had that damned left forefinger amputated last Friday after 14 years of being nothing but in the way (thankfully not my shooting hand!). Got home the same day only to see coyotes in the field across the road. Left hand too bandaged up to use for support so had to give them a pass. Only mild discomfort easily handled by ibuprofen. Getting caught up on loading and organizing my gun room...just slower.

Gee mate, that’s a mix of good and bad news...not good to loose a body part...but hopefully things will be better for you now. As for the coyotes...get yourself some sort of a rest that you can sit on the window sill or balcony railing and have at ‘em mate. There is one out here that is designed to be used on an open car window when spotlighting or shooting from a car. One would be easy to make from foam rubber and would be ideal. The big lower piece in the pic has earth magnets embedded to hold it steady on the car door. The top piece sits on top, although it too may have magnets in it to hold it steady.

Hey! That will likely fit the living room windows too!
Next time that car drives by with the music at full tilt I can have a drive by shooting! Wink

Reminds of the time I told someone playing their music VERY loud that I had a .45 caliber remote control device that could turn it down if they didn't.

Now THAT is funny! Around here that would likely end with me in jail on "threatening with a firearm."

First cataract surgery, on left eye, done on MAR 12 without any problems. Before surgery my vision was 20/400, after it was 20/80 and should keep improving as it heals up. The thing I noticed most at first was the change in color perception. The right eye now looks like a slightly muddy yellow.

The insurance company has apparently balked on doing the right eye now but hopefully I can get it done soon because I'm having some trouble with depth perception. I'm not crazy about reaching into an electrical cabinet with 600 volts at the moment. Luckily my coworkers understand and take up my slack.

Mike,
Grab your insurance weenie, cover one eye on it, give it a screw driver and open the HIVAC cupboard for it and tell it what to do.
If it says "Im not doing that, I might get killed", ask it why they want you to do it?
