To my friends.
My Mom died last night in hospital of complications from diabetes. We got to speak to each other when they brought her out of the induced coma. She is resting with Jesus.
Let the people in your life know that you love them and value them.

It is a difficult time of life loosing a parent.

Ron,
My mom passed in October of 2009. I was fortunate to have spent a lot of time with her that last year. I still feel her near me in all that I learned from her but I do miss her - and likely always will. The pain will fade my friend but you will always have the moments you choose to remember.
Let your kids know you are proud of them and you love them every time you see them. We never know when it will be the last time.
