This week I picked up a new toy from my son-in-law (https://mrsurplusllc.com/), a US Model 1917 rifle. It came with a sling and trigger lock. They live about 4 hours from me now and I was about an hour into the drive home when I started wondering if the free trigger lock came with a free key... Turned out that I had a travel mug he likes in my car so I'm holding it hostage in exchange for the key!
I'll get a pic of the M1917 tomorrow and share it.

there is the odd eddystone that turns up over here for sale...both in .303 brit and rarely in 30/06
a great rifle to hold onto to pass on to next generation....it would be getting a bit of use if was in my cupboard.
