Ah! I was wrong, again! Hahahaha.
Thanks, D-Dub.
Awesome as always.
Youda liked our shoot this weekend....it was nutty, horrible conditions. One of them stiff-stocked McSwizle's with your tuned tubes/actions would have been super welcome!
Pulled Boomer out after the rifle stuff was done for some show n shoot at 100y in 18 MPH winds. Always a crowd pleaser and everyone wants some time behind that trigger. And I always tellum where to get one!
Keep up the impressive results man...

I guess I should also mention, since my late wife has passed away, that the business name has changed, as well as the phone number shown on the back of pickup truck. I'll list the new phone number and business name when I start on the new build, which will most likely be this Wednesday...

Stovepipe,
I appreciate you showing off BOOMER and telling guys who built it, thank you!
I am very surprised that I never get a call from anyone wanting one. I tell guys that deer hunt a lot, that out to 125 yards, you don't give up anything to a rifle! Small, lightweight, portable, accurate and has plenty of killing power. What more could you ask for?

the .222rem mag improoved is interesting concept....over here there are a few guys running the .204 case necked back up to .223 it holds wee bit more than .222 mag powder wise ,from memory loads were 5-10% more.....got one sitting in the safe that belongs to a mate,we tried it and put it back in cabinet as it wouldnt do much more than my .223 using heaps more powder to do so.
the same mate also has what he calls his .264 magic which is same .204 case necked up to .264........he shoots everything with that wee number.

Elvis,
that round grip Encore is chambered in 458 Lott! Quite the handfull...
I do a full series of "improved" cartridges based off the full length 204 Ruger case, since it is nearly impossible to get 222 Remington Magnum cases...

I was looking at the round grip and thinking the off hand could well hold rear part when shooting off bench like that...seeing the cartridge it makes perfect sense.

Thanks for sharing, Deer Sniper. Beautiful work! You've been a busy guy.

As always Vince, thank you for the kind words...
Elvis - that rounded grip is called a push/pull grip and is quite east to shoot accurately, even with big bore cartridges. It is meant to be shot with both hands, and as the name implies, you grip the front of it with one hand pushed forward, and you grip the back of it and pull it back. This push/pull affect stabilizes the gun for off hand shooting...
