Just swingin' by to take a pit stop and see what everyone is up to.

Not much here just lots of work and trying to get the kid to his damned homework! He is 13 now by the way.

Did a little range time awhile back with the kids Boy Scout Troop.

Had a campout and took several .22LR rifles and let them safely shoot up the paper targets and small gong set I had.

Then after about 3.5 hours we put the .22's away and got out the centerfires.

We had: my AR(M4 setup, minus the fun trigger stuff that folks get twitchy over) A .25-06 a .270Win and even an inline T/C .50 B.P for them to pound out some rounds with.

Then we broke for lunch, and got out the shotguns and they shot at some clays.

All told I estimated around 1500 rounds of .22LR and about 3-500 rounds of 12ga with a box or two of .410 and maybe 1-200 20ga were sent SAFELY DOWNRANGE!

All Scouts reported EXTREM HAPPINESS after and expressed an overwhelming need that it should happen again.

Then just before supper they worked on the fence row and cleaned that up for conservation service hours.

Next up for me is a tri[p to Reno, NV in about five days!

Hope ya' all been well in my absence. Arron
