Now Jim Shockey and Chuck Adams will have to kill one of them to say they have killed every big game animal Whitetails and Mulies have done it so maybe the bears felt peer pressure!

We human should learn from this..
COLOR DON"T MATTER. Polar is white- Grizzly is brown... They made babies.....
Or is it because that they are color blind?

I didn't think the two species were close enough to successfully breed. I learned something new today - I can now go to bed.

I don't know about that in my case 1895ss--I could take a lot of trips for 45K US--just goes to show where hunting is going pay or get a gimmick ie Adams or Schockley.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that preditors can see color and food see in living shades of black, white and grey. I've been wrong before, but not often...(Snicker)

Yup Bushmaster,
So called "Color blind animals" can see shades of black, white and gray. Sort of like color vision but limited in black, white and grays.
Kinda like watching a old Black and White movie. If you ever watched them you can see and tell all the different shades of colors eventhough its all just black and white and grays.

I'm somewhat surprised that haven't heard of a black bear and a grizzly mating up, since they do habitate the same eco-systems. Blizzlys would be cool, and again maybe they have but I just haven't heard about it.--tr
