What's 8th grade? How old is she now and how many years does she still have to do before she is smarter than you?

Now 4 years high school, She is 14 , and she is straight A student. She received several awards. she wants to be a doctor.

doctor as in medical doctor or as in PhD?
Here a medical doctor is another 7 years after you finished middle school at 18 and before you're allowed to start, you have to pass rather difficult test exams...
Hope she can keep her head on her studies because they offer the best basics for the rest of her live.

Medical doc School is everything to her. She has been ready to go to school every day since preschool. She knows that schooling is the way to get to where you want to go.

That's the spirit. They have to be convinced that going to school is something for their own sake, not just to make parents and grand-parents proud. On the other hand they shouldn't forget that there is also a live beside going to school (or going to work). Toooo much of something is never OK. The spirit is housed inside a body and the trick is to find the equilibrium...

so now she graduated and is ready to have a long, healthy holiday!

What a smartie and a cutie!! It took me many years after schooling to appreciate school. Think I taught myself more since then, you have to be motivated and I wasn't. She's on a track to success, how cool (I suppose you have to let her grow up now...bummer for you) Best Wishes!!!!

Congrats on a fine job, Tremblay. All of my grand children are grown and one has made me a Great grandpa. They DO grow up TOO fast.

This is my oldest grand daughter. She just graduated collage.
