Glad to see you back Les! When you feel like doing a little wandering we'll have to meet up in Charlotte again and I'll buy you lunch.

With the alcoholprices in Sweden Geland must have found some home cooked stuff...
be carefull when you already have some plastic replacement parts inside as they could be dissolved...

A strange thing. I always believed vodka was made from potatos and now Geland makes me doubt because on his picture they put "distilled from grain"
Maybe a chinese copy-vodka?

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT VODKA
There is a common misconception that most, if not all, vodkas are made from potatoes. In fact, 99% of vodkas in the world are distilled from grain - corn, wheat, or rye - using the least costly grain available.
In the United States, most vodkas are made in industrial alcohol plants operated by the major grain processors. This alcohol is sold to industrial users of ethanol, as well as to the alcoholic beverage industry for use as a blending spirit or, after filtration and dilution with water, as vodka. Virtually all of these grain vodkas are diluted with water that is distilled or chemically treated.
Potato Vodkas
There are three potato vodkas distributed nationally in the United States. Two of them are made in Poland by the Polish Government and one - GLACIER Vodka - is made here in America, in Rigby, Idaho.

I went to a Polish birthday party once. They called the stuff vodka or at least it sounded like that, but the stuff was brown. Whatever it was must have had a kick because after the party I went out on the town. It took half of the next day to find my car and to this day I have no idea how I got home.

I remember vaguely...sort of, it's a bit hazy ...staggering down the middle of a road in a small town called Lemgo in Germany, about 3am, following the double lines (I knew they lead back to the ex Luftwaffe Barracks where I was staying), in full Highland dress, bagpipes under my arm, maggoted on good single malt whisky. Up again at 7am, showered, back into my kit then out to a Shutzenfest with the military band of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. The next couple of days were a bit of a haze.
Also attended an ANZAC Day memorial in 1983 at the Polish Club in Sydney with Polish survivors of WW II. Now those buggers liked their wodka, and boy could they put it away...10oz glasses half full at a time.
I was smart, I only had a couple of nips that day. The young smartars3 Captain we had with us wasn't so smart ...we found him out cold in the crapatorium, chunder all down the front of his uniform. We carried him out through the back door and unceremoniously dropped him onto the bus floor for the trip back to the barracks. We never let him forget that day.
The things we did when we were young dumb and fulla *** ... 12 foot tall and bulletproof.
