I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500HO 4X4, would not be with out it. as Dallan, I play all summer, and hunt all fall, plow snow in the winter.
Wife has a Polaris 250 Explorer 4X4, she loves It, more so in the muddy season.
We have excellent trails in the northern part of Michigan. There are some darn nice trails and camping in Tennessee as well. (We have family there)

The closest thing I had to an ATV was back in the mid 80s. I picked up a used Rokon 2WD off road cycle. This lil bugger was great!! If I ever get the inclination to get another off road vehicle I will get another one of these. Another neat thing is that the wheels carry extra gas for out on the trail. Give them a look at www.rokon.com pretty impressive cycle, not fast but tehn for what you use it for who needs speed.

I've got a landcruiser which goes anywhere that Ipoint it at, dogs and deer in the back, wash it out and we're back to luxury motoring.

It runs on vegetable oil too!

Never had a four wheeler and dont want one .. Rather have an Argo six or 8 wheeler amphib ..

Yeah a friend stole one off ebay a few months back , a six wheeler with 25 hours , three years old , $5500.00 .. Just ordered the tracks , $1500 ..

I would use them for plowing in the white stuff, and playing in the swamps in spring and summer.

As Handloader pointed out, recreational ATV riders when I'm hunting are irritants. I thought about getting an ATV, but realized I would have to haul it to where I wanted to use it. Instead, I got a Jeep Wrangler. We have lots of off road trails & me Jeep hasn't let me down yet. I've been able to go places in the Jeep where ATVs aren't a bother.

Well, around here most all the ATV riders are more considerate I guess, we only use the ATV's to get downed animals out of our swamps and deep woods, I never just go ride for fun during a hunting season. That is just not done here.
I have relatives in Arizona, I have never seen any party of that state that a 4 wheel drive truck could not get to, Here there are swamps and woods so thick you cant get a jeep through it, sometimes an ATV is hard enough.

You have a point Crackshot...We just don't have mud bogs and such here. I've seen plenty of tricked out Jeeps & ATVs that compete in bogs & I guess that's what I'd have to do if hunting conditions required it.
