I got a card in the mail recently that had $20 off any purchase of $100 or more at Cabelas. Last night I had to run there to get a present for my dad, and saw the Lee Classic Turret press was on sale for a price of $109 (normally $130), with the card that dropped it to $89! Smoking deal for such a sturdy press (this is the all steel one, not the stamped cheaper version they also sell).
I wanted to get it setup last night but alas, Mrs Claus grabbed it and toted it off to the "wrapping room". I guess I gotta wait a few more weeks to play with it lol

Glad to hear it! I did a bit of research on them, they get good reviews.

Yup, just make sure you get the one with the cast steel base, not the cheaper version that is stamped steel (in pictures the bottom red base is taller in the stamped version, lower in the cast version) at least what I've read its alot sturdier. The cast one has a larger ram too... here's a picture showing the difference:

The one on the right is cast aluminum.

Well Dallan, at least you know what your wife is giving you for Christmas - wait 'til you see what you're getting her!

Its a very good price for the sturdy cast steel press.
Good buy!

Ah, gotcha. I thought i read on midwayusa's review section someone talking about the differences and stating it was stamped steel. Aluminum would be even worse.
Still looking for pistol powder around these parts... its scarce still!

Never liked the priming system on either the 3 hole or the 4 hole Lee turret presses. I use the seperate Lee priming die system.
