Baked duck

Thats what I'll be having. Finally got out with puppy dog today to hunt for a duck. We are not in what would call a hot spot for ducks, but there are a few around. We managed one young pintail and one nice mallard drake. Hopefully we'll get a few more this season. Almost hit a bull elk that was crossing the road just before our turnoff. When we got back to the truck, had a cow and calf elk walk past the truck. Maybe should have been elk hunting today. All in all, a great day for me. Very Happy

M2, great pics. How did you get your dog trained to pose so well? Or is that part of the schooling the pup got to point/hunt?

Black labs seem to be naturals when it comes to posing for the camera.

Example is my sons Gun Dog, Harley
