I'm some what surprised at the scope movement that was going on.....any thoughts about that ???
To my understanding the TCU's don't generate alot of recoil.

Well, about the only thing I can figure, is that with the gun being so light, and shooting that heavy of a bullet, the recoil, though mild, has a very sharp rap to it. Even besides that, I put 3, 4 or 5 rings on most all of my guns, unless I am using the Burris Signature ZEE rings that use the nylon inserts. Even my .22's have multiple rings on them. It is just something I have always done and will continue to do.... |

if sausage was all the pork you got back...I would say you got "taxed" quite heavily. if he was 500lb live....a 1/5th meat doesnt quite sound right.

I kinda thought that too. That's one reason I process my own deer. I want "my" deer and not someone else's and I want all the meat from "my" deer. This hog was just too big for me to handle by myself, and I didn't have the time or place to take care of it properly. Oh well.... |
