Neither one can be any good at all - they ain't full growd yet!
Let them babies grow up to be real ammo - at least 30 caliber if'n ya can't wait for 'em to get to 40 or 45. Wink

.223 or 22/250 get my vote. I enjoy using my .223 and its easy to load, shoot, buy stuff for and if heaven forbid I ever forgot ammo on way to a hunt...most stores have ammo for it.

To say one of these cartridges is better than the other is a tough one !!!

Both are considered to be top performers in the accuracy department with a slight edge to the PPC.
The BR has a little more velocity potential with it's larger case volume.
Berger, Sierra and Hornady all make excellent bullets and are readily available. There are also some custom bullets available for bench rest competition.
Ballistics with 20 cal's will surprise most...... in a proper comparison the 20's will fly flatter with less wind drift than the 22's

That's as dangerous as asking what's better, redheads or blondes.

Actually, unless you have a fair amount of experience with them, wildcats are a sure road to frustration. The cost of custom dies, forming equipment and finding or developing reliable load development is more than most loaders care to take on. Either the 22 BR or 6mm BR will give you good service without all of the hassle. Otherwise, if all you want is a speedster that is easy on the shoulder and accurate, look into the Ruger .204 or even the .17 Remington - my personal favorite. Both shoot incredibly flat, buck the wind well (smaller diameter bullet coupled with speed means less profile to the wind and a shorter duration of exposure) and don't need excessive amounts of powder to get the job done.

SSL...... If I'm understanding correctly the unique thing about the 20 ppc and BR is that you can take a 22 ppc or BR Redding bushing die and simply change to the appropriate neck bushing.

That is my understanding as well. I should have clarified that I meant to say that delving into more exotic wildcats isn't usually for the novice.

Sorry for the confusion!
