Well fellows, I'm going to leave the board........................... Confused

for a couple hours. Very Happy

Ha ha, I had some of you cheering thinkin I was leavin for good. Laughing

Not so lucky my friends.:nana: I am going to watch my favorite NHL hockey team play on TV. Which team you ask............ well the "Calgary Flames" of course!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

Don't get into trouble while I'm out Bushy cause the rest of these yahoos won't stick up for you like I do............. Embarassed

1895ss- I just thought of this hockey episode that I went through several years ago. I about died laughing. Was at a Lion's Club convention in Castlegar, B.C. Went into this hockey arena where they were going to have a game that night. Was munching on some sunflower seeds, when one of the custodians came up to me and chewed my butt out bad. You can't be out here on the ice eating seeds he said. Ya know the hockey players will be out here tonight, if they hit one of those seeds they might get hurt. Here I thought hockey players were a little tougher than that.
Anyways, I thought the guy was nuts. Guess their is a lot I don't know about the sport. Confused

If you have never skated you would not understand, but if and when that little blade you are skating on hits something even as small as a sunflower seed hull, that skate stops right now. Yes someone could get badly hurt because of it like going head first into the boards. But unless you've skated before and had it happen, it just doesn't seem possible I guess. Smile

It's not bad if it was to happen in the middle of the ice, in fact it would look very funny but it's when it happens where you can run into something or if you were playing a serious game of hockey and fell at the wrong time that it might not be so funny I guess. Very Happy
