And who the hell are you?

Jeez Bushy.....a little heavy handed, but you smoothed it out with a beeeer and sit......so....I've seen that video before, I think his netting is a bit robust for rabbit catching but the technique works anyway. Are snakes that easy to find?and you wonder if the rabbit was bit or not, if so, can you still eat it? I wouldn't think anyone here would offended by half-naked (but then it's a guy thing......I mean that it's a guy that's half naked.....not his thing) well it was hot......the weather was hot........ so he took off his shirt. Man it's warm in here too......

Suz I don't care if the weather IS hot. I will not go into the mountains [or bush] without my levis and a light, but strong shirt. Not only do snakes bite, but so does brush and other thorny plants. Or have you forgotten those mountains just east of you?

Welcome Fawdon,
Great vid and yes Vince he is a bit of a clown,
A lot of effort and danger to get a rabbit
Just love how his hairdo gets a mention in trying to blend in with the natural surroundings
Bushy you made me laugh with that half naked comment, if you have a close look he is wearing shoes, which makes him over dressed in some places

OK, that was all very interesting, and funny, and maybe even thought provoking.
But, all that work for a rabbit, when the snakes were so easy to catch, eat the phr---en snakes if you’re hungry.
This is obviously a lost art, why was it lost— because all the guys who went out picking up snakes to flush rabbits were killed by venomous snake bites.
And, because when our venerable ancestors started hunting for food spears and rocks were faster, and not nearly so time consuming.
Eat the snake, and set up snares over the rabbit dens. The best of both world, now where can I get a baked potato and some sour cream, to go with my slither and den (surf and turf) dinner.

Bushy I used to live in the desert....things bite including the plants and I never hesitated to take my shirt off when I got hot. Matter of fact I used to wear shorts and sneakers out there picking prickley pears. You get a real sense of looking where you're going when you live in the desert, cause too many things can get you. Live a little Bushy and take yer shirt off.

Where do I go from here? I could say something about taking one's shirt off [in the desert]. Or I could say something [not related to hunting] and get into trouble.
Best bet here is to put lips together and clamp down on teeth so tongue can't move.

We have a male oriented saying over here Bushy, "I'm always in the s***, only the depth varies".
Seems it can apply to you as well.

Common Bushy I wanna see some flesh!!
Well I didn't tell you that I go in for skin cancer screenings every year and even though my skin is not as pale as some, they have always found reason to use some liquid Nitrogen or some very sharp instruments to rid me of nasties. I had 11 stiches going down my nose once after a surgery I got to watch the whole thing of course. At least the guy is good at what he does and you'd never know really. I have to say in reality I don't take any clothes off outdoors anymore and my arms and legs are covered from the sun. You're first 20 years of exposure (they say) determine your chances of getting skin cancer. So if you're in the sun (like I was) your first 20 yrs, then your odds of getting an adverse reaction are pretty good, no matter what your skin color is.
And yeah I've been ripped open by berry vines, stung by stinging nettles, got poison oak, all while wearing a long sleeve shirt, it just aint enough.
You oughta see me out at Jon's pool though....heh heh heh
