Took another trip to the lake yesterday, not a lot of action. It's probably my fault since I moved into the creek channel to see what was there. I was setting decoys as the sun started to rise, 6 ring bills flew so close to my head that I felt the air move. They scared the crap out of me. I should have known they were coming Sadie was sure looking the direction they came from.

Red Alert! Red Alert! Incoming! Are you sure they didn't succeed? I've had them "bomb" me in formation and actually hit my boat!

That's funny... I've been surfing and more than once I've been "bombed" by pelicans and gulls just minding my own business wating for waves. I've seen them coming and actually turtled then heard the "whumps" on the bottom of my board! Bringin' a pack with a sling-shot for next time. Birds have aiming skills!

I was hurrying to get my decoys set so I would be ready but they strafed me in the early light just before shooting hours, real hard to see.

I had an Elvis moment this morning. Got back from hunting and a lone goose went over the house. To bad the gun was still in the truck and I was in my EZ chair.
