Will be in Vegas next weekend and going to take in the Crossroads West show. First time for me. What can I expect?

It depends. I have never been to that show so I cannot comment. For the last few years, I have avoided gun shows because they are not what they used to be around here. Just curious, if you find a firearm, how would you get it home? All the best...

Years ago you could find good deals at gun shows, but lately have not been able to find deals anymore. Last show powder was actually more expensive then my local smith, even more so when you figure the cost of gas for your car and the drive over 200 miles round trip.

Not intending to buy. Just want to see the rifles, pistols etc. I am in the market for a melting pot and Lee 6 bullet mold in 9mm.

you can expect a show much larger than any from Oz.

LSV should be similar to the gun shows in Dallas. You will see lots and lots of guns but I wouldn't expect to find a melting pot and bullet mold. Best to look on-line.

However, Elvis is onto something. I have to travel through Las Vegas frequently to work in NV and Utah. Expect multiple invitations for a "good time" from ladies you have just met. Day or night makes no difference. I even stopped buying gas for my rental cars because I was even getting propositioned at gas pumps.

LOL Lester heard enough of those type of pitches when I was a sailor. I expect that given it is legal in Vegas that they have done away with the intermediary and have a direct approach.

Well it was interesting. Definitely no deals on very many things. A third of the show was flea market with dishes and even cheap costume jewelry. I did get a ballistic nylon belt and some copper plated bullets. The older guns were nice but nothing really grabbed me except a Martini Henry that appeared to be in great condition.

Its suppose to be a gun show, more than likely this trend will continue to the other shows.

Sounds like a "gun" show. When gun shows are that crowded with people spending money, other interests are bound to come.

All of the gun shows around here have a certain amount of "flea market" stuff in them. Never bothered me and gives the wife something to look at too.
