It ain't the bar tenders here. It's the damned "pitch men". Seems they can't jump your ditch, but they sure can swim the big pond.

I'll send a few over Elvis, it'd save them swimming.
[maybe with the next lot of bar tenders]

Nice shootin' Bossman. Bout time ya hit something other than a barn wall- all them holes let's a draft in... Laughing

Cottonmouth's are the reason God made sharp shovels. Those need to go.

Almost, ran into this lil feller Sunday mtn. biking, aprox 36". Come round a tight corner and found him basking. Rat Snake. Harmelss and benificial. Mimik's a rattler's marking's and makes ya think twice till ya see the head or tail. I shoo'd him off so he didnt get mashed.

looks a bit on the skinny side, must be few rodents around for him to snack on.
? how do snakes get on when rat poison is in the area? do they become bi_kill? we have secoundary poisoning issues over here its one of the main reasons 1080 is hated so passionately .

Its in a reserve. Cant touch anything here. I aint into poisioning for the reason you mentioned. There's rattlers here too, lots of them, tons of cottontails I cant touch either. Im so tempted to night hunt for some pot meat but...I'd proly get a death sentance for it here in LALA Land. We used to hunt this hill as kids with 22's! Now it's koom-bye-yah tree-hugger central. We are lucky to still be riding pedal bikes in it. Cottons are out of control and the raptors here cant keep up and the Conservancy is like OH WELL! ...duh!
