No, ya creepy buggers...I don't need a shower...I'm heading off to Sydney for a surprise visit/birthday party for my Mum's 90th birthday.

Will be back next Wednesday. Now you buggers be nice to one another or I'm sure Suz will get the switch out and tan a few britches.

Have a safe trip and yes you do need a shower....sheeesh it's yer mum for cryin out loud take a bath!! Least put on some baby powder or something. Epic event, having a 90 b-day, my pop just had his 80th, hope I'm at least that young when I get up there. The guy just doesn't stop! Have fun Vinnie!

Thanks everybody...My Mum had a magnificent birthday, and she sends her thanks and regards to all.

Her first surprise was when I walked in the door...she had her head down reading a magazine and didn't see me till I said hello...gave her a bit of a surprise. Spent a couple of days with her while we organised a surprise party for her down at the Bowling Club.

I stayed with her for about an hour keeping her occupied whilst she played the Poker Machines (Slots) (my brother and his wife were setting up the party and assembling the guests), then I said to her, "let's go grab some lunch down at the Restaurant". She started to head into the Dining Room, but I said, nah, let's go in here instead...the surprise was overwhelming...actually reduced her to tears. I suppose we should be careful surprising a 90 year old like that, but she is made of tough stuff.

A magnificent day was had by all.

The party was in Newcastle Gelan, so I didn't get all the way to Sydney mate. Next time.
