Here's some photos from the Eugene Or. outdoors show. Record book mounts. The cougar is 200lbs, other than that I don't have any info. These pictures come out too small on here to read the plaques.

Are you chosing your new camo to go deerhunting?
Then I recommend to put some orange ribbons in the antlers for other hunters and some extra mirrors to look behind you for other deer willing to 'dance' with you... Smile

And about such trophees: maybe because I don't have them myself, but till now I've always tought that size doesn't matter, I prefer the good story that's coming together with even the smallest souvenir... and even the smallest can be shaped beautiful.

Indeed Aloysius size doesn't matter, an inch is as good as a foot right, or at least that's what you tell your wife. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Nice mounts Suz, no pun intended, but thought about. Embarassed

those looking sideways mounts are great. fallow or sika head down looking sideways like they are peering at you under something really get me going. one day.....
we are very lucky in that we have O Roukes taxidermy in Pleasant Point not too far away. the business is run by 3 brothers who have hunted all around the globe and most spiecies are present . those guys are a great lot and also do the safari/guided hunt/fish thing aswell. WHEN I finally shoot a big stag it will be going there for mounting.
thanks for sharing those pictures Suz.

Magnificent examples of the critters Suz.

I'm not a trophy hunter...but I can appreciate the beauty of a nice head.

Cheers, Vince
