Shot her broadside @ 62 yds (rangefinder) with a 210gr 44 magnum handload. Entered and shredded the lungs and smashed the other side shoulder with out exiting.
This is a total of 4 deer for our house hold and I still hold 2 tags and Son has 2 left. Please excuse me, Im gonna go eat some back straps smothered in mushrooms, onions, Mashed potatoes, frozen sweet corn from our garden, pickles from our garden, and some apple grunt! Going bow hunting in the AM!

Vince. It was a darn good meal! I would invite you over if it was just a tad closer for ya!
Stovepipe, The 44 DE has taken more than a couple deer for me. So the ol girl has earned her safe space.

That's good stuff. Love seeing pistols taking medium/big game. Hope that hole was big enough for the naysayers!

Entry hole says it well. Don't need a through-n-through everytime, esp when it caves a shoulder like that.
Good stuff man and enjoy the tender goodies! Grats again!
I need to get off my lazy duff and get me some of that action next season with mine....

Hows that Bushnell scope working out? Do they have as much eye relief as the Leupolds? Need another scope but cant afford a Leupold.

Great. Go back and forth from 100 - 200y zero, no problem. Like the thumb clickers under the caps. Loooots of relief. Burris Z rings keep it together. Got it for I think 199$ couple years ago from Amazon.

9.5" now from 10.5", plus brake. Def a two hander now.
, too heavy for one.
I wana a DE too...ever since I saw some guy at the range with one makin' way more noise than me. His reloads were wicked fast too.
I had boom envy!
