I drove 10 KMs to farm.shot hare with 222. Then put222,223,22-250 and 270 on paper to check zeros after scope merry go round again and came home happy. Used 223 to knock off my two house mutton sheep ... |

Just bit of grease or oil.or nothing.DO NOT leave can on rifle when not in use. Barrel will rust to buggery quick smart if you do. Moisture from shooting etc has nowhere to go. I store my cans on top ... |

Put another towards end of barrel channel...so action is flat/ parallel in stock.if you just use recoil lug in middle you could tip it one way or the other... |

You will do fine bud....just put in some wee blocks to mark your desired height,that way when you push well greased action down into your bog,rifle will stop when it hits blocks n be at desired height ... |
