Thanks Dallan. I was hoping for his forum, not so much for actual reloading data but because there a plethora of equipment being used, and it's a chance for everyone to become fairly knowledgeable of what's out there. Best wishes.

Buffalo Hunter,
6.5mmx54R can be made from 303 British brass. www.huntingtons.com has a die for it. Its alittle pricy though at $79.30.
Norma sells Brass for it also at Huntington $39.98 For 100
Hope this helps
Dimitri

Buffalohunter, I see this thread is more than 3 years old, but I don't often meet someone who is also using the 6.5x54 MS. I have an old but very nice "stutzen" Mannlicher in this caliber and I can only advice you to try the 1750 Sierra bullet .264 - 160 grs SMP (semipointed). If your barrel has a twist as fast as mine, you're going to love it.
(and I do indeed use Norma brass)

220 swifts make nice brass too, alot less work then the .303 or 30-40 krag, i'll stick to the 8x56 in my 1908 though.
