Last few winters have been tough on our sharptail popuplations. With lots of leg work and a good dog we are still finding a few. They are one of my favorite birds to hunt. Smile

Good catch, I don't see many here in the southern part of the state, but up in N.E. Iowa there are quite a few. Grouse is one of the best tasting birds to me and hopefully we will see their population grow.

Congrats on a successful hunt. Dinner for two?

Gona be hard to match yer pics and epic settings man...but I'll giver a go for sure.

My ol' stomping grounds are being encroached upon so...stuff's getting squeezed out. Gettin' hard to find stuff out here in LaLa land that's semi-local and I'm scared I'll have to find some new spot soon and you know how that goes not a lot of fun but...we'll keep atter!
