Absoulely...Don't give up on a blind horse. My last high mountain trail horse was a 16 hand Thoroughbred/quarterhorse who was 26 and blind. Stone blind at 23. I still rode him on mountain trails. Had to pay attention to where he was going, but he never missed a step if you warned him about a log or rock. I would say "watch the log" and he would put his head down and find it then step over it...If they trust you they will go anywhere you want them to go...
My wife says..."Beautiful horse"...

Best time to come down here for Foxtrotters is in September during the Foxtrotter world grand championships. They auction off around 100 or more...The show and auction occur 3 miles from my place and lasts 6 days. If that interests you...You would have a place to stay...
This is Mom (Tulsa) and Son (Zeus). Both registered Foxtrotters. And NO...Not for sale. Zeus is Cutter's replacment. She is just short of 16 hands. He is 6 months old yesterday...

Hope I haven't left myself open with that last comment.

Dawgdad,
New South Wales, parts of Queensland and the ACT are under Quarantine due to an outbreak of Equine Influenza.
All movement of horses in the state were banned.
You can check on current up dates at www.dpi.nsw.gov.au.
The only thing I know about horses is that hay goes in one end and you can't trust the other.
Bushmaster,
I also know that when a horse has his ears back like that then he is all excited and about to give you a big friendly hello kiss. And in horse language he is actually saying "come on, come a little closer, just a bit closer, closer, just a bit closer so I can kiss you, come on closer"
Best of luck to your daughter, hope you can arrange to be here to see her win.
Vince typo accepted without comment.

Yeah right mate....you just like goin' full auto...don'tchya.
Seriously though, I've been having the same problem...Runtime Error reports and it asks me if I want to Debug, with the error listed as "object expected".

Goodluck to your daughter!
And have a fun trip if you do end up going.
