pulled 80 odd loads yesterday,dumped any powder that couldnt 178% identify and salvaged rest of components..... Ive reloaded cases before that Ive pulled loads from...but wondering if will my partially length resized cases fit in new chamber...will wait and see....just got GIVEN 80 factory loads....so will use them to break rifle in,depending on what they are....and load up some 130grn ballistic tip reloads to see what power level rifle likes....loved the BTs for years but prefer heavier projectiles now.....
read lots on barrel break in.....
will do what did to my .223
fire shot,run brush then rag through...fire 2 do same..then 3 do same then try a few 3 shot groups and call it good....allowing rifle barrel to cool between shots is the go when breaking in......
fun times ahead.
the extra 2" of barrel should give me tiny bit more speed....not that I use a chronicgraph or really care.... its a poohseventy...AIM,FIRE,its dead....
