I think that I'll be OK on the trigger. The match is Sunday instead of tomorrow.
If it hurts while shooting, I'll call it quits and just run the timer.
Congrats on 17 years.

About 40 years ago I used to drink quite a bit. While trying to open some clams, I sliced into my thumb and it needed stitching. Did I say I dank quite a bit? Anyway I weighed my options and decided it was a do-it-yourself situation. I was drinking back then. I put about three of the best stitches I could manage into the thumb, using regular thread, and called it good enough. I did have a drink or two. The thumb healed up just fine with the exception of the loss of feeling in the part that was sliced and all ended well. Your stitches look a bit fancier than mine did so I'm sure you'll be alright.

My good ole dad put stitches in my head once. My brother and I were playing football in the house and I hit my head on a door jam. I remember mom found me in bed with my head on the pillow soaked in blood. Heads bleed a lot. She about died seein me like that. Well my dad was used to patching up animals around the place (sheep, dogs) so he put my head in his lap and stitched me right up. I was only about 5 or 6 at the time, can't remember much of it really.
I hope you can shoot well enough. Could you try out shooting with another finger instead? That shouldn't be too hard to do.
