Misses out :( on HP TouchPad

As part of some legal suit, HP is discontinuing their TouchPads.
These are similar to Ipad etc.
Damn cool units that HP is clearing for $99 !!! from their original price of $499.

The problem is that HP will sell only to USA.
So us in the backyard are missing out Sad

Could anyone be kind enough to help me buy one?

They're sold out!!! I was just checking on the postage, then went back to the website and now they have a big red sold out tag over the photo of it. Sorry Geland....gotta be super fast with deals like that. I thought of getting one for my folks, they use a thing like that to read e-books with. I guess it'll do that...

Anyway I got the postage figured out but then there is a duty? can't find info on that. Postage was anywhere from 40-80 dollarsUS depending on the method.

Nevermind Suz, managed to order a few myself this morning.

Apparently HP Australia are clearing as well, but somehow they did not publish it on their web site.
You got to ring them and order directly.

To those that is sitting on the fence deliberating whether to buy,
let me tell you, if they are not desirable, 3+ million units cannot be sold out within 2 days!!
This price is CRAZY!!!

Its a little expensive, but I've had one for a while, and its nice:

They seem to have raised the price, but they changed out to a multi-threaded processor, SSD instead of a HDD, and they doubled the RAM. So it balances the price out.

When the iPad (the first one) came out, I harassed everyone who bought one that I knew, as I could do anything and they couldn't. Laughing
