Don't shine me on Bushmaster-- I didn't mean to throw aspragras at answers to my post. I appreciated all the info. Merely said it went off topic a bit and that often happens- soo I posted a bit about the history of my RCBS press- it means a lot to me being as it comes from a long time hunting buddy who is now deceased- that's all.
As for what I can offer--who knows- I mostly reload to hunt not for MOA--have been a few places but cetainly not everywhare and hopefully I still have a few places to go again.

Oops...Ruffled some feathers...Didn't mean to do that. Do, sometimes, tend to do that though.

my Lyman reloading book is #47 ( old) my Hornady books are old- so are my loads- been using 38gr of H380 for yrs in my 2-250's and ditto my 300, 45/70,06, 243,and 270 loads so my question is- should i buy a new guide? look at new powders-

Senior: If it's broke, fix it,...if it ain't broke, let me see it for a minute! Very Happy Like Joe said, check new powder to be sure the chemistry hasn't been changed.

The newer manuals are more "Lawyerproof" nowadays, but the older ones have perfectly good, safe loads. But, formulations of powder do change, and you should also own more than one manual for reference.
