10Ring,
Most whiskey drinkers I know ether drink Canadian Club or Sotch imports. Not too many drinkers I know that drink American stuff. (Actually I'm the only one :P)
Anyways I might stop by to the US when I'm 21 to get some to try.
In Ontario all alcohol sales go through the LCBO (A goverment run company) so what ever they want to import we get. In other provances you can probrobly get a better selection.

10Ring,
Yup that too all LCBO's dont carry the same things. It kinda sucks makes it hard to find the right "posion" as some call it
So 10Ring tell me you think doctors are right when they say a drink a day is good for you ??

Ah, now here's a subject close to my heart. Whisky consumption. I quite enjoy a cold drink on a hot day....or any day for that matter. Don't mind a drop of bourbon every now and again, but my tipple of choice is a fine simple malt scottish whisky.
I thoroughly enjoy Glenmorangie....prefer the 18 year old.....and Glen Fiddoch.....currently enjoying a "young" one (only 12 yrs old)...Glenfiddich Caoran Reserve Peat Ember. Very nice indeed. I won't even put ice in my single malts. The ice melts and "pollutes" the whisky with a foriegn water.
Dimitri, haven't had a CC in some years. My young brother bought a bottle home from Canada and I helped him drink it. Most pleasant.
Bushy, never heard of Early Times whisky, but when I partake of bourbon I usually drink either Jack Daniels (very BIG here in Australia) or Wild Turkey. They have another one in the bottlo (Bottle Shop) called 101. Have heard it is great but very expensive.
Had one or two for you the other night mate as I said I would...hope you enjoyed them...I know I did.
Cheers, Vince

Sorry dimetri, but whiskey and scotch are not the same thing...The proccess by which you arrive at a whiskey or a scotch and the ingredience are not the same. Good whiskey is amber in color and scotch is, well, dark piss yellow? A good scotch and a good whiskey do not have to be expensive. Although one is for drinkin' and one is for sippin'...Gone for the day to make a horse mad at me by puttin' that dad-blame saddle on him. See ya this afternoon...

Bushmaster,
Oh, when they sell it on the box it claims its "Scotch Whiskey" so I assumed the differences were solely based on what they made it with
And have fun riding your horse today

Well....Let me be a bit more accurate because while (i believe) all scotch is made with malt, some other wiskeys are probably also. I just don't know of any readily off te top of my head.

Hey Bushmaster, Early Times is pretty Good but I prefer Jim Beam, Although my drink of choice is Bacardi. I know it is a youngsters drink, but I have had a major "Sweettooth" since birth and I just can't seem to get away from it. I figure most of it works at the proper time, except for Teq Kill ya. Enjoy your cocktaul have a great day, and enjoy the games if you watch. I am headed out to do just that.

We have noticed that what you guys are calling 'Off Topic Discussion' is not in the nature of 'forum subjects'. What you guys are doing is chatting and that is better done in a messenger service or chat room, not in the forums.
What we are seeing is too frequent babble that is not 'on topic' forum replies. We intend to keep it a forum. The General forum is for off topic 'discussions' not babble and banter. The same with the other forums when you jump in, hijack the thread, and start babbling about another subject or bantering between yourself and there is no resemblance to the original subject of the thread.
You will notice that when you registered at HuntingNut that there is a place to include your messenger service (ICQ, AIM, MSN, and Yahoo) and there is a button in your posts that will let you connect with each other on a messenger service. So you have HuntingNut Private Messages and Messenger Services options to 'chat' on. All of the Messenger Services are free to use. You simply register and download the free software.
ICQ
www.icq.com/
AOL
www.aim.com/
MSN
www.microsoft.com/wind...messenger/
Yahoo
messenger.yahoo.com/
Just a suggestion, why don't you guys get together and pick one messenger service to hook up on. The messenger service can be run at the same time you are reading the forums. With a buddy list you will be able to see who is online and offline. Some of the services like ICQ will let you leave a message for the other user's even if they are not online. Best of all you would be giving Dallen and the Moderators a break so that we can read the forums for enjoyment.
Dallen has posted a new rule #6 that everyone needs to read. Any questions about the new rule should be PM'ed to Dallen.
