They sure were comfy and quiet. Wish I had a pair, but alas, my friend lost his life in Nam. He was of Klamath tribe.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but, I've been gone Wiersy and didn't know about you being laid off. Sad I'm REALLY SORRY to hear about that. Please keep your chin up. Things will get better. They always do. Very Happy

No worries tc things are getting better every day. Had to tighten the belt and dip pretty deep into the savings account but we're surviving. I'm still fat and sassy so things can't be too bad.

I recommend a Quality boot that is comfortable to you the minute you put them on. A quality new boot does not, [I repeat], does not need to be broke in. It should fit and be comfortable from the start. There are quite a few brands out there that will fit your need. You need to look at why you are in need of that particular boot. What it is going to be used for. And whether you will feel out of place wearing it.

I have no problem wearing my black Tony Lamas and a black Stetson with a black pin striped double breasted suit with a white dress shirt and most any bright tie. Nor do the horses mind if I approach them with the intent to sit on them wearing my old dusty Ariats, Levis weastern shirt and an old beat up Resistol with "stampede string" and braided buckskin band (sweat stained).
