we finally got out for a fish yesterday two weeks into the season.
My good wife landed a beautiful 4lb brown trout
Our son landed a 3lb browny a small rainbow and 3 small salmon
I landed 4 small salmon
we took the browns home and my wonderful wife cooked trout cordon bleu tonight. boy was it great chrispy bacon melted cheese and beautifully moist trout. my tummy is full to bursting.. man its great to be alive.

No fair, not showing pictures, you usually show pictures! It has been a while since I fished for trout. I remember a 4-pounder was pretty big. The meal sounds great!

Bushy be carefull, the main ingredient of almond (arome) is benzaldehyde and you know what they say about these aromatic 6-rings, they can do the same as a 6-shooter but more painfull and a lot slower...

glutan free pasta and sauce. we ate the trout AND two 1lb salmon for tea that night.. man we do it hard..

OK- the title kinda not so appetizing, then I read your post and it made me drool, then the tea thing again? Fish flavored tea? Eeew! But the rest sounded delish and I'm sneaking a ride over in Bushy's trunk and bringing my appetite!
