No offense intended...That's what women in the Navy were called when I was serving. I retired in 1986 off a mine sweep as MPA. I had women working for me on ocasion and I worked for a female LT once...

I'm going to try and go shooting today, I have a little work to do this morning, my boss is'nt working today but I have a patient coming in that is going on vacation and needs some work done before he goes.....must bow down to making money.....Oh Christ! I'm not offended (must be my accent) no I was just letting you know that was a WWII label and actually they quit applying it sometime in the 40s, they still used the name because it was really just an acronym after that for women in the Navy. If that's really a photo of you Bushy, I love your mustache, can you curl it up? That would be cool looking on that stoic face, hat goes well too. Ok it's 7:30 I gotta get to work...

Mom, who will be 91 soon, was in the WAVES in WW2.
Now if Bushy starts waxing his moustache it's going to blow my whole image of him!

Don't worry Mike...It's not gonna happen. This mustache is low maintenance in that it grows naturally this way...

Just turned 54 last week!!! The photo is a bit old of course......I had a (so called) photographer friend that put me through some punishment to see if he could get published and this is one result. I'm slim and trim but no gray hair and when it does go, it'll be magnificent. Now enough of me let's get to the targets. Just to show you how right you guys are about the sighting in, my first photo starts with the top 3 shots and moves to the right and finally the final 3 which are more zero and this is at 100yds. I was adjusting the scope every 3 shots from the top of the target to the right, then to the bulls eye. Don't know why the 30-30 is so wild this time, but it's probably me.
The next photo is my Savage 30-06. First I cranked it down 4 inches before I even fired the first shot. Put 3 rounds in, moved the scope to the left 2 inches I think, and for some reason it fired low. That could have been my set-up at the bench rest. Good for now. I have to conserve ammo.
I still have to take my Mauser out and do-over my sight-ins. My other rifles are iron sighted and they're just for fun. These I take hunting so I want them to be more reliable.

Suzanne,
Now that last target is some fine shooting. Looks like you have things figured out. Take care...

Thanks Joe B. a kind word indeed!!!!! That was my 30-06, the other is my 30-30 starting from my 50yd sight-in and going to 100yds, moved every 3 shots. I'm sure I can shoot it better than that but it was pissing me off to have to sight it in again and so I just pulled the trigger to get it done. EEEEEEwwwwwwwww All the the sudden nobody wants to rant anymore. (Naw Suz, it's long holiday weekend, people are takin their kids out for one last camping trip before school starts) They'll be back tryin to whip your behind after their kids start gettin on their nerves again. (Oh good cause I can't stand these narratives by myself) Well it's raining here and have moved my attention to woodturning. I have this beautiful bit of firewood that turns out to be walnut and so I'm trying to hollow out a small vase out of it. So far so good. Can't do any re-loading just yet, need some 8mm bullets........oh well

It's a bad sign when you start talking to your self. I'm guessing it's a really bad thing to post back and forth to your self on the internet.
Hmmmm do you argue with yourself to?

Hey Wiersy...There is nothing wrong with talkin' to yer self. I even ask myself questions. I, even still, answer my own questions. If you want the correct answer you ask the expert...
When one wants an intelligent conversation one talks to themselves...
