The biggest bore rifle I have is a 30 caliber. That doesn't leave me much to work with as far as drilling hole and having enough side walls to have a good anchor for the 22 round. You'd almost have to use a lathe to drill it straight enough. If anyone with a big bore rifle decides to try it, make sure you take pictures!

One other thing........

Gelan....you doing ok! We don't want you going postal on us...or start scaring little children. Mad Mad I don't think I'd like putting up with customers, either. I have to put up with corporate bankers and lawyers in my line of work and I've gone home, quite a few times, wanting to touch off a few rounds to blow some steam. That's why I've got some very spooky Javilinas around the house! Very Happy

Cary

YOu are lucky that you could let few rounds around your house.
Here, If I do that, mate, thats it.... I even have to "smuggle" my guns from the car to the house.

My neighbours are definitely gun shy..
They are nice people, but uneducated and totally opiniated about guns.
Too much TV methinks.

So, it is storing the sh!ts for a few months, and then .. go have a long drive.. 10 hours or more.. and let them stream off..

Not too long to go. 9 more hours of work and.....

Muahahahahah!!!! Twisted Evil

Gelan...you get out there mate, and decimate the Cobar pig and goat population. Enjoy your hunt and bust a few caps for me. Oh, and have a beer or three for me too thanks mate.

I'm pretty envious of you mate...I was hoping to get out between Christmas and the New Year, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen now. The guy I go with is caught up with work crap.

I know, a bad day hunting is far better than a good day working, but hunting doesn't pay the bills.

Cheers, Vince

You be very careful on the roads Gelan. I saw a couple of accidents on the coast road back to Brisbane last week.

The Police (Traffic Nazis) are out in force too mate. Saw motorcycle Police with radar hiding in amongst the trees on the side of the road and also in amongst the shrubbery on the Freeway traffic islands...creepy buggers.

Have a safe one mate.

Cheers, Vince

Try a shotgun primer in backwards instead of the .22 rimfire! That should disrupt it a bit and you don't have to worry about it shooting back.

Dang! now that I am back, you give me this tip!!.
But, how do I get the primer ignited?
Viz, with a 22 rimfire, the rim got knock with the lip of the hollow and ignite, but a shotgun primer would be sitting on the hollow..

Oh, forgot to add.. I chickened out in shooting the 22lr on the last minute..
maybe next time I will use a floebert instead.
