There may be a lot of new small businesses that start up - All the guys (and women) who get laid off will need to work.
As for starving to death - too many "middle income" folks are already putting s drain on the local food banks here. Those that used to be donators are now customers.

The new jobs will be "paid informants" and "grave diggers".
In my oppinion, I dont have a president. Wont have for 4 years.

You're absolutely correct. I am also a man without a president. To claim this administration in any form means that you support his positions and I don't.

Last week a Russian economist (I believe his occupation is correct) predicted that the US economy would completely fail and that the US would break up into 4 to 6 separate countries. Texas would be one, Alaska would be another and the east and west coast states would separate.

I've brought this up before, but John Titor could just be for real! It's time to start studying Titor.

Obama's position on guns should be interesting now. He claims that we have a FEDERAL right to be armed but that local and state govts can restrict it (Guess he never heard of the 14th Amendment). So what will happen if the Dems in Congress try to pass a Federal restriction?? If he sticks with what he said before the election he'll have to veto it. If he doesn't he shows the world that he can't be trusted.

The 14th says that the states, etc. can't deny you the rights protected by the Federal govt.

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I know I may be going against the current here, but there is one fact created by the DNC that may work against any attempts to roll back Heller -- The Democrats ran as many conservative candidates as they could this past election leaving the House with somewhere between 50 and 60 "Blue Dog Democrats".

I have doubts that the Democrat whips can force them to hew to the party line when they have to stand for re-election every 2 years.

What I am far more concerned about are "stealth mode" attempts to ban certain types of ammunition under guise of protecting our police. And that seems to happen more at the local level where we need to be just as vigilant as we are at the national level.

These people are going to nominate and confirm five, count' em, five supreme court justices (not to metion the 13 Federal Judges). Do you think the 14th amendment, our votes or the Constitution means anything to them? The are gleefull because they will now be able to legistate from the bench, the hell with Congress and President, they have the Supreme Court!!
