When a guy carries, all people around him are much safer, but they don't know it.
A bunch of kids at Virginia Tech would be alive right now, if someone would have broken the law and carried a pistol.
Sad, Sad, situation.

For various reasons, I told the Wife that I would be carrying for a while, and she agreed with me.

It is a God Given right, that a person can protect himself.

My License to Carry is a 24-hour license just like my drivers license. I have carried just about every place I go including church. That case in Colorado was halted by a churchgoer with a CCW. You do not need a gun until you need it very badly. In Pennsylvania, the only place you cannot carry is into a school. All the best...

Kauko...If I'm not mistaken. You have police that patrol your streets and eat donuts and drink coffee. That means you have crime. That means that you have innocent people have these crimes perpetrated against them...It may not be bad now as you are a small country and the percentages per capita are small, but as you grow it will come. It's human nature. I do hope you and yours are prepared.

By the way. Your English is just fine. I have noticed that you have improved as you have been using it on here and probably other places. Maybe one of these days I might learn a different language too...

My Church has the official position that if a person is legally licensed to carry, he/she may exercise his Second Amendment rights in all legal venues, but also says that wepons are "inappropriate" in church.

This is a private property issue, and as in a home, the owner may decide who/what he will allow in his home.

Of course, that stems from, among other things, a sunday school teacher who brought his 9mm to church to show to his class, and ended up shooting himself.

Stupid is always with us, but should be dealt with on a case by case basis.

I will go along with the pronouncements of our leadership, but only until...and I feel it is not if, it is when some goblin with a real or imagined grievance decides to shoot up a meeting... THEN I will carry in church, regardless of pronouncements to the contrary. Until then, a knife is my main tool.

[quote="Bushmaster"]Kauko...If I'm not mistaken. You have police that patrol your streets and eat donuts and drink coffee. That means you have crime. - Mr Bushmaster, Here in Finland, there is not enough polices.
There is no police that patrol our streets because they are catching drunk drivers, car tiefs and speeding drivers. Those are general crimes. Fighting at home is bigist reason to kill here in Finland. They use legal shotguns and knifes. They are drunk.
I have no reason carry guns, not only because it is illegal.
I am very happy if some day can to write USA-English.

Sniper,

Sounds to me they want you to carry the pistol on your side openly at your church. Smile

I for one will carry in church or anywhere else I go. I'm just waiting for the day when a bunch of ragheads go into some of our churchs, start giving praises to alah and then blow everybody up. Maybe that will open some eyes. Personally, I believe at our church there would be a race between 2 deputies, a state trooper and myself to see who could get the first head shot in thier raghead @$$. Pray Shooting Pistol Shooting Cheers
In that order.
