Well, I just bought my son's plane ticket and my ticket for Argentina in July. We are off to Cordoba for a 9 day adventure in the dove fields of Cordoba. I have promised him one day I would take him and he put in as to how the bird trip should be sooner than later. I guess with him going back and forth to Iraq and Afganastan and me with the heart and back surgery he decided that we best get on with the program before we run out of time or folks to go. He is in Iraq right now for another PJ / CRO tour.

It should be a good father and son outing. Course he is now 39 and I am 62 so we are a mature set. But it is never to late as long as you both can wiggle.

I will try to do another bird hunting article for the articles section and also return with pictures.
Ed

Well done Ed. Spend as much time as you can with him mate. The older you get, the more time flies....before you know it you will both be too busy or tired to go.

Enjoy your hunt mate and I hope that it is as successful as you want it to be.

Cheers, Vince

Thanks guys, we will be going down to visit a fellow that I met several years ago, the first time I went to Argentina, Ariel Goldman, a son of one of those German famalies living in Argentina. Ariel is a graduate engineer from Patagonia (southern most state in Argentina) where the mouintains and stags are located. When he graduated from college he took a bicyle trip across the Andes mountains. The bike trip lasted for 3 months. Ariel is quite the outsdoorsman and adventurer. He works very hard as the outfitter to put the hunters on the game and to insure good lodging and excellent food. So this should be a very good trip.
