And Crackshot, I'm big (6' 1", at 260 lbs), I can't conceal a 1911 in the summer here, hardly any cloth's to hide it. Now in Michigan, I can see no problem.

And for the eye's, I needed longer arms at age 45, now I'm old like Bushy. There is an advantage though, you don't need protective eye wear at the range if you wear your glasses. Ironically, I can still shoot with iron sights.

Tactical is all the rage , they're trying to do with a pistol/revolver , what they have been trying to do witha rifle for all these years , make an all purpose one , good for everything ..

My answer , well I steal it from Carmichael , instaed of an all purpose rifle , how about an all purpose hunter/shooter ..

Is why I have the Lott , dont need nuthin' else .. It is the all purpose rifle .. for me ..
