Gentlemen and ladies...I can call all of you that, can't I?

I don't want to take away from the fun we have been having on this website. Nor do I want to seem like I'm an over bearing person or a prude...I'm not (especially a prude). But I have noticed that we, including myself, have gotten a bit rebald on some of our topics. Being not a "moderator" and not having any power at all on this site I do, however wish to think that I might have some sway anyway.

I believe that if we wish to keep this site for everyone (including DallanC) we need to clean up our act and try not to hint or suggest below the table comments as obvious as we have been. I would hope that Mrs. DallanC can read these too, without blushing too badly. And No Dallan I am not looking for points in this I just think we (including myself) need to clean up our act a bit...How about it Guys...???

Bushy, I think we're all getting tired and bored of this long cold winter... and maybe that's why we're slipping a little. I haven't read every Thread, but I haven't seen nothing too bad yet. Compared to other Forums..

I dont have time to read and keep up on every post that goes on here. There are alot of other things going on I have to take care of throughout the day, approving picture submissions, load database submissions, fixing accounts that didnt register correctly, lost emails... questions, you name it.

But yes, I agree things have been degrading a bit overall. I have deleted some "jokes" that were over the line... alot of them are "grey area" that I'm undecided on. I do know a few great people we had here dont visit as often, citing just this subject as the reason they dont like it anymore. Similarly we lost a bunch due to all of the spam issues... most of it did stay in the "Spam-o-rama" forum but its spreading around again.

I also think we need some new moderators, we have some that visit frequently some infrequently... with a couple seemingly AWOL.

So yea, I'm glad you brought this up. I think we need A) more moderators and B) for people to alert me or the mods if there is something in a message somewhere that is against the rules as stated in the rules section. If we missed something in there its fine to propose a new rule.

How does that sound?

I'm not quite sure what brought on this post, but I'm thinkin maybe there's some Valentine's Day issues here somewheres. But I would say that I do very much appreciate the fact that we are awhere of what others think of our posts. That's Cool Very Happy

I think just talking about this will make everyone aware how you feel on this issue, and it should take care of itself. No more rules, The ones you have say it all.
And, any takers on the moderator thing? How bout it Bushy..
