New to the site..

was on the net looking around for someplace new, ran across this one and figured "why not".. a lil about myself, 38 year old dad of 2 a girl 16 who has hunted since 12 and a boy who just turned 12 and is wanting to skip school every day to hunt!! live in Pennsylvania and hunt anything i can when I can.. got into reloading over the past year due to a two fold reason, a pistol i have, ammo is no longer produced, and i got a killer deal on a full outfit from the brother in law. lets see otherwise, I enjoy a good story and or a joke, I use the term useing a sharp stick for poking, but of course its all in fun.. I can take as good as i give so no worries... Laughing

Welcome aboard Morax....glad to have ya here. You will find a wealth of information and knowledge amongst our fellow hunters and shooters, all given freely if ya ask.

Now as for the pokin' and bein' poked....I reckon you've come to the right place. A happier more friendly bunch of people than those here just don't exist I reckon. Just so long as you ain't one of them pesky Marlin shooters. Bonk

a marlin shooter?? hmmm quick think of way to change subject.... ummm ummm so hows the weather there? hahha yeah i shoot a marlin, but it is the old style plain ol 22LR. topped with a 3x9 nothing fancy.. (thats my .243)...

i have owned the 94, and it never seemed to fit my hand quite right, and since hand replacement surgury was sorta overpriced at the time, i used the 336 marlin when i did use the bigger calibers.. now its savage...

right now i am reloading for a .41 action express. yeah you can find brass SOMETIMES, and SOMETIMES you can find the ammo, but for way more than what it is worth, whereas i can reload for next to nothing on them... the hand replacement, i was meaning the win. never felt quite right to me, so i ended up with the marlin.
