Just a cow, but perhaps the single most exciting hunting experience of my life.

Story and picts to come later (wife took the digital camera out of my truck... I had to use one of those disposable film cameras I always keep in my truck.

PS: loading a 500lb elk into a truck by yourself without a come-a-long takes for fricking ever... soooo tired today (got home at 11:30pm).

Congratulations Dallan. A successful hunt is so satisfying. This successful hunt will have unwound all that tension you were feeling a little while back mate. Lucky bugger....wish I could get out at the moment...and I don't have to wait for a season!

Best you have a word to SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) and do a little grovelling and begging to get your camera back....and if that don't work ask if you can buy another one.
