So I finally took the plunge and got married this past Sunday.
Did the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony with her family in the morning.
Then in the afternoon had a church wedding. A United Church, married us, mainly because this way Anna didn't need to convert just to get married in a Church.
Then in the evening we had dinner, all 70 of us, at my buddy's Greek restaurant. It was delicious, even the people on her side who don't eat Greek food were quite pleased and stuffed.
Sadly I didn't get drunk at my own wedding reception, ended up playing bus boy, figured instead of the normal "Hey thank you for coming, how's everything?" I'd make it a little more personal and ask them if they needed drinks etc. Because it seemed like some were worried about asking, the concept of an open bar was foreign to some.
Still, everytime I hit the bar, I had at least one, normally two drinks. I guess the running around cut down on the buzz.

Well done and congratulations Mr and Mrs Dimitri and family.
My best wishes for the future.
Open bar eh, perhaps thats why the southern hemisphere crowd didn't get a group invite, no good starting married life that far in debt.
Your young one looks a bit hungry, did the tie make it home?

I actually managed to turn a profit on the wedding. Even with the 40 person party bus for immediate family not to drink and drive and because Anna's family doesn't drive. Paying the church. And paying the restaurant (although to be fair he also gave me a killer deal, and threw in the desert table as a wedding gift).
The tie got home in one piece. He seems to prefer to teeth on softer things, like fingers, ties, and bibs.
Although, I started him early on real foods, at 2 months he got used to sucking on strawberries. By 4 months he was scraping fruit with his single tooth. And now he will actually bite and chew with his gums fruit and even pizza crust.

Last Wednesday Anna's mom made pizza. When her aunt walked by as I held him on my lap. He did a butt jump of about a foot trying to grab it.
