Pull mine apart clean it and reassemble..
I think I lost it.
I cannot see it in the parts diagram, either I am blind or there is none..
Gah
It is Rossi Puma .357 magnum circa 1990 ish, the older one without safety on the slide.

If this is the gun you have, rossi 92, then looks like no spring on the firing pin.
It has an ejector spring though.

If it's the same as my Rossi R92, they can be a bugger to take apart and put back together. I took it apart for some cleaning and to replace the ejector spring. For the life of me, I don't remember a spring on the firing pin. Mine had the bolt mounted safety which I replaced with Steve's Guns peep sight.

Ya thats the one M92.
I coulda swore that there were some rebound on the hammering face before..
I mustahafbeen mistaken.

Thanks Pete, yes I did pore through the diagram.
Definitely no spring on the firing pin.
My memory must have played.. I am getting an introduction into the "oldies" club mayhaps.
