Mad Mad just went down to service station and bought 1 litre/ quarterish gallon.....$22 Shocked Shocked Shocked
I know it will last for ages at 30/1 in the chainsaw but that price shocked me.
I could have bought a 250 ml/1 cup sized container at $9 Embarassed

You got a bargain Elvis, $36 worth of 2 stoke oil for just $22.

What ever happened to $8 a quart?

Cheapest non synthetic 2 stroke here is $25 for 5 litres.
20 lt was around $110 last time I checked.
I use around 750ml in 145 lt of diesel to aid lubricity.
The wipper snipper and chainsaw use 50 / 1 so the expensive 1 litre bottle of husqvarna 2 stroke lasts ages.

Two Stroke oil is like all other oils...getting damned expensive these days.

The oil I use in my whipper snipper (weed whacker) cost me about $9 for a litre (2.2 Imp pints) and as Pete says, at 50:1 it will last a goodly period of time. On the other hand, the oil I use in my motorcycles is a different kettle of fish. I use Castrol R30 in one bike at around $25 - $30 a litre and Fuchs Comp 2 Pre Mix at $20 a litre (12 years ago - I bought enough to last me a while, but I have very little left now). The Castrol R30 I mix at 25:1 and I mix the Fuchs Comp 2 at 33:1, so when I get the chance to take my bikes out I use a fair bit of the oil. Haven't had the chance to take either bike out for quite some time though. burr

For 2T dirt bikes? Motul 710 2T.

Look no further. I've already done all the testing!
