A NICE topic

OK, finally I have something nice, pleasant and enjoyable to show everyone.

This is the sort of table that every guy should have in his entertainment area for those times that he wants to sit down, relax and enjoy a beer with his mates.

I'm sure that any of The Nuts here could work out a way of reproducing a table like this for their own use.

Seriously though, I wish I was there, it looks warm! I think we are going to finally get up ABOVE freezing temperatures in a day or two. I'm sick and tired of single digit temperature values.

Dont need a forestock rest,,, you just grip one of them beer bottles high up on the neck, rest the bottle on the table, lay the forestock over the top of that mit of yours ( notice the natural cradle that forms ) and touch one off ! Dont ask me how I know these things ,,, Rolling Eyes

I see.... now that calls for different height bottles???? we have short and long neck stubbies 330mls, pint bottles and big boys at 750mls. of course a nice bottle of Merlot would be good to go with the steak on the B.B.Q. so that would add even more height if needed....

Dallan, I would gladly swap some of the heat here for a little of your "cool" mate. The heat has been oppressive...I've been sweating like a n1&&3r on a rape charge. Whilst it's been hot here in Brisbane, poor old Gelan has had it worse in Sydney...the heat has been scary down there.

This week we have heavy rain, which has cooled things down a bit, but the humidity is still there.

Oh well, I suppose it's nice to have a contrast between summer and winter.

Yes mate...flooding rains. The rains came on the tail of ex Cyclone Whatever They Called This One.

Not a major problem, although they say we can expect high winds and rain all this weekend...and I was going to shoot in a Sporting Clays Competition...

Im still going to attempt to shoot low field on Sunday.
Being the shotgun captain I suppose leading from the front and not drowning on the firing line is required, thats if the road in is still there Sunday morn Smile

Fair call Pete. Caboolture Clay Target Club have a Sporting Clays competition on Sunday and I am planning to do the same. Not sure what the high winds they are predicting will do to the clays though. Could be an interesting shoot methinks.
