New York's senate last night passed what they are calling the toughest gun control measures in the country. It goes to the very liberal assembly this morning and is expected to pass there overwhelmingly. Among the new provisions, a 7 shot magazine limit will be put in place and owners have one year to either sell their guns or have them fitted to comply.

Somebody up there has to challenge this! They rushed the thing through so there was no chance for people to stock up before it passed.

Slim, those were their "reasons". I think a lot of folks have already stocked up and will continue to do so when they can.

I told all of my shooters last summer to stock up.
Now I'm getting feed back from the gang and they are saying thanks for the advice.
I was hoping for the best from the King, but preparing for the worst.
I just inventoried my .22 ammo tonight and have enough to last until President Rubio is elected.

it sounds like a legal challenge needs to be mounted and very quickly. if your laws/ constitution say you can have arms for defence well then that need to be defended in courts of law. why the heck arent the big companies getting onto this????

Ruger is deeply involved as are the normal pro-gun folks like the NRA. The people are involved too - writing letters making phone calls and sending emails. Some representatives are just ignoring it all. There is something going on in the background that we aren't seeing.

Maybe someone should have read the bill before they passed it !!!
The dumb @$$'s forgot to put law enforcement provisions in it dealing with magazine capacity.
