I keep my own firearms inventory records in an EXCEL spreadsheet with make, model, serial number, condition, acquisition cost and current value. I then save it on several disks and toss them in a gun safe.

The NRA sells gun insurance at a reasonable rate. They used to only require a schedule (listing of firearm serial number) if the firearm was valued at over $1,000.00. Not sure of the current requirements.

My current insurance arrangement is an inland marine rider on my homeowners' policy without giving out any serial numbers, models or the total number of firearms. All the best...
Gil

Hey Gil, i actually do that myself and suggest that to others.........Although you should alwyas keep a back up file on disk in your safe as well.
My cousin found out the hard way when he had a fire in his den.......Just so happened that not only most of his guns were there (25% of his collection FUBAR), so was his computer Sad
