Yup, toss that case. It's very possible that the case was not right from the get go. While the Winchester primers have been ok for me, I don't know whats going on with the Remington brass lately as I have gotten within 6 months as I reload the 30/30 and lately I been crushing the shoulders on a few of them.

Using LC or Winchester brass solves the problem for me. I think QC has a lot to do with this.

I'm kinda surpised the primer seated. Looks like a factory booger to me. None of my stuff is robust enough to do that.

Donut Slayer, I'd be interested to see what your velocities are. I'm using 55.5 to 56.0 grains of IMR4350 in my .270 Win for GMX and TSX bullets and getting 3080 fps. I wouldn't be surprised to see your velocity be less due to the bigger case. I would think you would have to go to the 140 TSX or heavier to see any advantage from the WSM.
